Dear Parents & Guardians,

The class has now been introduced to our new Chrome books.  They are an exciting tool for our learning in the classroom.  We will use these computers often for practicing skills and for some writing tasks.  The educational games that we use in class have sound.  The sites read directions to students, read stories to them or add an element of encouragement for meeting goals.

I am asking that each child bring in a set of headphones that they can keep here for the year.  You can imagine 15 computers reading different stories at the same time!!!  That certainly makes it hard for your child to hear their own story!  So, if you can, please send in headphones as soon as possible, it would be much appreciated!
